The #67Minutes Challenge
What Are You Doing For Your 67 Minutes?
In honour of Mandela Day, Westbrook Retirement Village is asking our community one simple question: what will you give for 67 minutes? Whether it's your time, your skills, or a donation of R67, every contribution helps us care for the elders who built our community.
Please donate R67.
Why 67 Minutes?
Nelson Mandela gave 67 years of his life to fighting for justice and dignity for all South Africans. Mandela Day asks each of us to give just 67 minutes in return, whether through action or through giving. This year, we're inviting you to support the hands that built our community, so they can continue to live with the dignity, comfort, and care they deserve.
How Your R67 Helps
Many vital projects at Westbrook need funding right now. Your donation, alongside others, goes directly toward:
Health and Wellness
Supporting our clinic, medical supplies, and wellness initiatives for residents.
Comfort and Care
Helping residents who need financial assistance receive the care they deserve, regardless of means.
Safe, Beautiful Surroundings
Keeping our grounds secure, clean, and comfortable for the people who call Westbrook home.
Meaningful Activities
Funding the arts, crafts, music, and social programmes that bring joy to daily life at Westbrook.
